Meta’s Newsroom post Design the Muse App, Just for You ↗ (November 6, 2026) introduces Spaces: a custom experience you create inside the Muse app by describing an idea — holiday gift tracker, daily word game, DIY planning board, trip planner, and similar.
What a Space can do, per Meta Newsroom:
Built from a natural-language description, then refined with Muse as you use it
Pin to sidebar or main tabs; hide what you do not need; schedule when a space appears (e.g. work planner on weekdays, weekend plans on Saturday)
Connect apps so the space updates in the background (concert dates, price changes, savings progress, etc.)
Edit, check off, and annotate inside the space; state persists when you return
Availability: “Starting today, spaces are available everywhere Muse is available.” Meta says it is exploring ways to share spaces later — that is forward-looking, not a shipping share feature today.
Meta also notes it is rolling specialized model versions into Muse, trained with learnings from Muse Wonder — mention only; no invented benches.
Coverage matches from TechCrunch ↗ and The Verge ↗. We stick to Meta Newsroom wording for product claims; we are not inventing user-count figures that Meta’s post does not state.
Example Space ideas Meta lists (illustrative, not a feature checklist for every market): shopping hub with Instagram saves + Marketplace, school dashboard from emails, music tracker, wedding planner, trivia game, podcast studio, small-business order tracker, freelance client hub, trip planner with itinerary.

Our take: who should care
Muse users who want persistent mini-apps without leaving the assistant: planners, trackers, and light games that survive across sessions — this is the day-after follow-on to Muse Voice / expressive avatars. If you already live in Muse, Spaces is the personalization layer, not a new coding IDE.
Vs other “agent” products: Perplexity Teammates targets work Max agents; ChatGPT custom GPTs / projects are a different surface. Spaces is consumer UX personalization inside Muse, not an enterprise agent platform or open harness. Do not confuse “describe a tracker” with “deploy a managed worker fleet.”
Caveats: Meta ecosystem lock-in; sharing is still “looking ahead”; background app connections imply privacy / permission choices you should review in-product. Specialized Wonder-derived model versions are a quality bet Meta states without publishing numbers here.
Action: if Muse is available to you, build one Space you would otherwise keep in Notes or a spreadsheet (gift tracker, trip itinerary) and test pin + schedule. Skip if you need shareable multi-user apps today — that gate is not claimed as shipping.
